This project consisted of renovating the Glenn Black Lab (built in 1971), Mathers Museum addition (built in 1980), and Mathers Annex (built in late 1920s). A renovation of this type, which is not a full gut and replacement of all walls, ceilings, and mechanical systems, but rather tries to leave certain existing elements such as fire alarms, sprinkler mains, and select power circuits. This creates a whole other level of coordination required to pull off such a feat. Additionally, Weddle installed a new exterior accessibility ramp, subdrainage. hardscaping, and landscaping.
